VCU Health System is currently recruiting for an hourly, non-benefited Care Partner to work rotating shifts in the General Psych Unit.
Education/training REQUIRED:
Completion of state recognized CNA program; or Completion of first semester junior year in a BSN program d! ependent upon school curriculum. VCU/MCV BSN students: completion of sophomore year, Nursing 201, 202, 261. Associate Degree and Diploma programs: completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women's health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area
Completion of EMT program; or
Completion of medical assistant program
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc: AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
Level and type of experience PREFERRED: Nursing Students who meet the requirements above are preferred for this position
