Virginia - Richmond Adult Psychiatry Opening
Practice will be a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Typical day includes inpatient round! ing in the morning and outpatient work in the mid-morning through afternoon
The average psychiatrist is seeing 3.25 out patients per hour. Time spent for new evaluations range from 45 minutes to 75 minutes. Med checks average 15 minutes.
Schedule for call will be telephonic two weeknights per month and rounding call one weekend per month
Additional call is compensated up to $750/weekend
Most physicians do outpatient work Mon-Thurs, and only do rounding on Fridays to break up the work schedule, but scheduling options vary
Compensation package is a guaranteed base salary with production incentive and complete benefits
