The Adult Service department of Horizon is hiring for the position of Chief Psychiatrist. The position re! quires approximately 30% management and 70 % direct care. This position is responsible for supervising full-time and part-time psychiatrist, managing contract psychiatrist and telemedicine vendors, in addition to supervising Nurse Practitioners, and collaborating with (internal and external) Primary Care providers. The provision of direct care is in both residential and outpatient settings. On-call is shared with other medical staff and compensated in addition to salary. Excellent managerial, clinical, customer service and communication skills are required. BC required.
