Description: Inova Physician Group is presently looking of PSYCHIATRIC CLINICAL LIAISON right now, this occupation will be assigned in Virginia. Work as part of a vibrant multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals at the Inova Psychiatric Assessment Center (IPAC). Responsibilities include:
Conduct Psychiatric assessments via telepsychiatry within Inova Emergency Departments or in person at IPAC; Complete initial intake and provide preliminary diagnoses for determination of level of care and program services; Obtain insurance authorizations for psychiatric inpatient admissions; Manage incoming behavioral health and substance abuse calls; Coordinate admissions with Community Services Board to inpatient units; and Provide prescreens for admissions to Inova CATS Program (Substance abuse) and Inova Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for psychiatry.
