The Same Day Surgery department is recruiting for one full time day/evening shift and two part time evening/night shift, benefited Care Partners
Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc
AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
Level and type of experience PREFERRED
Acute care experience as a ! nursing assistant or aide experience
Education/training RE! QUIRED
Completion of state recognized CNA program; OR
Completion of first semester junior year in a BSN program dependent upon school curriculum. VCU/MCV BSN students: completion of sophomore year, Nursing 201, 202, 261. Associate Degree and Diploma programs: completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women's health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area; OR
Completion of EMT program; OR
Completion of medical assistant program
