DO NOT APPLY THROUGH THE COUNTY'S JOB WEBSITE.** Crisis Stabilization Services Implementation Manager The Community Services Boards (CSBs) of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William, collectively known as Health Planning Region (HPR) 2, received funding from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Disabilities Services to implement a regional crisis stabilization and mobile crisis program to serve children and families in Northern Virginia. The program is managed by the Arlington CSB; children and families throughout HPR 2 will be served by the program. Services will be provided by contracted vendors. The Crisis Stabilization Services Implementation Manager is a full-time, time-limited contract position responsible for overseeing implementation of the crisis stabilization program, which encompasses mobile-crisis services, crisis stabilization beds, and child psychiatry. The! implementation managerâs duties will include, but not be li! mited to: · Working with a regional steering committee and Arlington CSB staff to develop a request for proposals (RFP) for interested providers · Overseeing the RFP process, including responding to inquiries from applicants, reviewing and tracking proposals, and scheduling RFP review panel meetings · Collaborating with RFP review panel to choose program vendor · Working directly with the chosen vendor to develop implementation plan for services, including establishing timelines for implementation · Providing regular written and oral updates to Arlington CSB and regional staff regarding progress of program implementation · Working with compliance and documentation staff to develop procedures for tracking services in electronic medical record · Attending regular meetings of the regional steering committee to review services, outcomes, utilization rates, compliance, and reporting requirements · Developing business processes and procedures in writing · Training staff ! on processes and procedures · Compiling a program policies and procedures manual Strong clinical, interpersonal, organizational and communication (written and oral) skills are critical for this position.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification Requirements:
Masterâs degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other directly related clinical discipline;
A minimum of two years of post-Masterâs degree experience providing professional clinical mental health services;
Experience in administrative/supervisory/management functions, including program management, policy development and implementation, data reporting and analysis, and report writing.
Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William).
Additional Information:
Schedule : This is a full-time, 40-hour position, generally daytime Monday through Friday, ending June 30, 2014. NOTE: County contract! ing rules require that the selected candidate obtain commercial general! liability insurance or equivalent. Salary:
$37.00 per hour - 40 hours per week.
