Here is a taste of what youll be doing:
Installs, configures workstations and common peripherals (printers, scanners, barcode readers, UPS, etc.)
Diagnose and repair workstations and peripherals
Installs IT equipment in various points of presence in the country
Ensures the documentation of the activities performed
Remote technical support offer
Participate in the configuration and installation of various IT equipment (servers, storage systems, rackable UPS, etc.)
Install network equipment and related connections
Ensures the proper functioning of customer-specific equipment
Participate in maintenance activities organized by specific manufacturers (in Romania and in other countries)
Ensure training for operators / users
Creates work procedures and monitors their compliance
Monitors the performance of operations by collaborators
Collaborates with other teams to automate operations that ensure the security and proper functioning of the IT systems managed by the company
Lets see if youre the right candidate:
At least 2 years of experience in installing and configuring Windows workstations and peripherals
Experience in workstation hardware (diagnosis, repair, component replacement, testing)
Experience in servicing various peripherals: printers, scanners, UPS, etc
Experience with complex equipment (industrial printers, engagement equipment, laser engraving equipment) is a plus
Class B driving license
Basic knowledge of linux
Basic knowledge of networking
Communication skills with less technical people
English language
French is an advantage
Willingness to travel 20% of the time outside the country (Africa)
