We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Master’s level Mental Health Professional (LCSW or LPC) candidates to work in the Richmond, Virginia area.
This position provides initial needs evaluations, crisis management and on-going mental health services to individuals identified with serious mental health needs. It also works closely with the site Psychiatrist and the nursing staff to ensure continuity of care throughout the individual’s stay at the jail. We offer great benefits and competitive pay! - Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation. •Licensure in Virginia from the appropriate state licensing board. LCSW preferred.
