The Acute Care Oncology is seeking a full-time, part time and hourly Care Partner to provide interdisciplinary care for patients who require medical intervention for hematological and oncological malignanceis.
Qualifications include the following:
Education/training REQUIRED:
Completion of state recognized CNA program; or
Completion of first semester junior year in a BSN program dependent upon school curriculum! . VCU/MCV BSN students: completion of sophomore year, Nursing ! 201, 202, 261. Associate Degree and Diploma programs: completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women's health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area; or
Completion of EMT program; or
Completion of medical assistant program
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc: AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
Level and type of experience PREFERRED: Acute care experience as a nursing assistant or aide experience
