Psychiatric Medical Director sought to oversee a 10-bed Adult inpatient unit, an active outpatient day treatment program and a small p! rivate practice. Duties are primarily clinical with minimal administrative responsibilities or committee appointments. We are a Medically Underserved for behavioral health and thereby the successful candidate will be eligible for substantial student loan forgiveness. Planning is on the way for a 6 to 8 inpatient bed expansion in the next 18 months. There is reasonable call schedule to be shared with two other Psychiatrist and consultations within the hospital from the Hospitalist.
Located on the Chesapeake Bay halfway between Washington DC and Virginia Beach. Best described as a waterfront resort community with golf courses, country clubs, yacht clubs and marinas. The largest industry is seafood â€" fish, crabs and oysters. Water everywhere!
