For complete informations about this job opportunity please read the description below. Attendant needed for 7-year-old boy with high functioning Autism and ADHD in Culpeper, VA. Must be 18 years old and be female. Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
and summ! er 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekend hours are typically 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Weekends Required. You will be working our other attendants days off. Every other Sat and Sun. This position can be anywhere from 15-20 hours per week.
Summer the hours change to full day hours and hours will increase 20- 30 hours a week. We are looking for someone that does not have young children of their own or has very reliable daycare. Positive minded, patient, creative, energetic person wanted. Person needs to be able to keep up with active 7-year-old.
This job can be used as internship in Early Child Education, Counseling and Psychiatry classes. This is not a sitting job as with elderly care. You will be interacting with a very active child in educated play, computer, and games, creative play- also his bathing and simple meal preparation. Computer skills required.
Household duties are but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping and bathroom clean up. We want so! meone that is serious about a job and does not call in unless ! an absolute necessity. We want someone that has plans to be here at least 6 months. This is a state waiver paid job, $8.86 per hour.
Criminal and CPS background check required. Must love working with children! Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder a plus.
