AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
Level and type of experience REQUIRED
N/A
Level and type of experience PREFERRED
Acute care experience as a nursing assistant or aide experience
Education/training REQUIRED
Completion of state recognized C NA program; or Completion of first semester junior year in an accredited BSN program dependent upon school curriculum. VC U/MC V BSN students - completion of sophomore year, Nursing 201, 202, 261. Accredited Associate Degree and Diploma programs - completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women's health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area; or Completion of EMT program; or Completion of medical assi! stant program
