We are currently sourcing an experienced Biologics Maintenance Lead to join our high performing engineering leadership team in our Ballytivnan site in Sligo. As part of the Engineering Leadership Team, the Biologics Maintenance Lead is responsible for aspects associated with aseptic fill-finish & Conjugation production facilities for the Biologics site. The Biologics Maintenance Lead is responsible for providing team leadership and direction to the maintenance team committed to delivering equipment, utilities and a facility suitable for aseptic fill finish manufacturing and formulation of
Biologics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and growing the maintenance organization through the development of the Maintenance Excellence Program utilising CMMS - Maximo
- Support key manufacturing personnel for unit manufacturing and aseptic filling operations, lead continuous project improvements, approve protocols, and other technical documents.
- Participate in the interpretation of data and collaboration with other departments.
- Implementation of all relevant policies and procedures relating to Engineering, Personnel, Quality & Safety.
- Ensuring that the plant meets its customer service, quality, safety and inventory management goals through the effective management of plant resources.
- Lead the maintenance function for all process equipment and ensure MEP requirements are achieved.
- Support the introduction of new products and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop the skills of the maintenance group.
- Ensure safety standards are met and safe working practices adhered to.
- Provide technical expertise for commercial manufacturing during development of new products, manage timelines and resources.

For this role, you will have:
- Diploma/Trade qualification in suitable science/engineering course and/or suitable experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science or relevant discipline desirable
- At least 5 years of engineering experience ideally in the engineering environment of Biologics or Pharmaceutical.
- 3 years’ of supervisory experience in a manufacturing related area in a Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical organisation.
- Experience in manufacturing processes of drug product/substance, including aseptic filling, visual inspection of drug product, solutions preparation, and sterilization operations preferable.
- 3 years + people management experience.
