Virginia Commonwealth University, Department of Psychiatry is seeking an Assistant Professor as Faculty at Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics (VIPBG). The faculty member will be required to have an established research agenda and a clear potential for external funding, as appropriate, and potential for scholarship or creative expression to complement and expand existing expertise in the department. Qualifications: The applicant should have a Ph.D. in mathematical statistics, experience in twin modeling and genetic linkage and association methods required.
Experience with data processing, computer programming, SPSS, SAS, and STATA, and knowledge of genetics desired. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
