The Behavioral Health and Technology program area in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences is seeking a Research Coordinator to manage a national clinical trial of insomnia Internet Intervention.
The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of the trial, including recruitment, assessment, management of subject flow, intervention execution, and intervention support. The coordinator assists the Principal Investigator with all grant related tasks and serves as a liaison with the IRB, OSP, NIH, and co-investigators. In addition, the incumbent provides support in preparing manuscripts based on completed research findings and participates in writing grant applications to secure funding for future projects. Finally, the incumbent serves as a lab coordinator and manages the day-to-day operations, maintains inventory and supervises student workers.
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree with at least one year of experience working with patients or subjects in a medical system. Degree in Psychology, Public Health, or related field is preferred. Successful candidate must have exceptional organizational and communication skills with working knowledge of managing clinical research protocols and laboratory procedures. Must have previous supervisory experience.
The Behavioral Health and Technology group is located on Old Ivy Way with free on-site parking.
