Social Worker - Child :
MedTrust is currently seeking to hire two full time, permanent, civilian Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) for the Behavioral Health Program. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in Children will become part of a collaborative team delivering world-class health care to our nation's heroes and their beneficiaries at the Fort Belvoir Psychiatric / Behavioral Health clinic, Arlington, VA.

Skills:
The role of the Social Worker encompasses the full range of care including outpatient clinical assessments, treatments, case management, referral and education. Social Workers will work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, other clinical social workers and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Research & student mentoring opportunities are available. New and proven therapies are encouraged! Coordination of care is collaborative and a team approach to treatment is encouraged.Must Have: Minimum 2 years experience as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from any US jurisdictionBasic Life Support (BLS) from approved American Heart AssociationExperience with: PTSD, Depression, Behavioral issues, attachment Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Anger Management,Good to have: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Play therapy, Music TherapyAddictions
