Job Description:
Oversees day to day operations of all aspects of the Inova Medical Group Evolving Primary Care practices and Hospital based Services (Hospitalists, intensivisits, Psychiatrists and Pathologists). Designs and implements new models of care and clinical programs in partnership with the Medical Director or Chairmen that expand across the continuum of services from Wellness to End of Life. Drives clinical quality and service excellence in all settings. Develops cost effective strategies to reduce the costs of care in all settings and Creates and environment with these strategies such that the Inova Medical Group is the premier provider of services for the newly created Signature Network and the Aetna â€" Inova Health Plan JV. Responsible for all HR management, hiring and maintaining well qualified and trained staff Develops initial capital and operating budget and monitors performance, recommending and implementing actions if variances are identified. Works closely with the recruitment and acquisition team to aggressively grow the Primary Care network, and will lead selected acquisition projects. Responsible for all aspects of integration of newly acquired practices into the Medical Group. Responsible for the success implementation, enhancements and optimizing the use of Epic ambulatory software and My Chart. Work aggressive to grow the practices. Job & Education Requirements: Results orientation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Partners effectively with Physicians and other major support Departments - HR, , managed care, marketing, finance and billing. Comfortable with Matrix relationships
