Client seeks Board Certified or Board Eligible Child Psychiatrist to see patients ages 5-18 at outpatient mental health clinic in Central Virginia. Wil! l work with 6 other doctors as well as case managers and nursing staff. Provider will handle new evaluations at 1.5 hours, and follow-up appointments at 30 minutes. Flexible full-time hours between Monday - Friday; clinic can accommodate 4 10 hour shifts. Clinic sees 48% patients ages 5-12, and 52% ages 13-18. One of the Psychiatrists is also a Pediatrician. No call or weekend work for this position. This terrific area has both urban and rural characteristics, and is a great place to raise a family. 5 colleges/universities in the area, and it is a terrific place for those who enjoy outdoors activities. 45 minutes to Blue Ridge Mountain and the Appalachian Trail, 1 hour from Roanoke, 2 hours from Richmond, 1 hour 15 minutes from Charlottesville, 3.5 hours from Washington, DC, 4.5 hours from the beach.
