Overview :
Experienced psychologist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or social worker to work with a team of project managers, financial analysts, and clinical subject matter experts responsible for executing military healthcare programs focused on psychological health, traumatic brain injury, and those benefitting wounded, ill, or injured warriors.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as a subject matter expert
- Provide clinical input and knowledge of empirically-based practices concerning psychological health and traumatic brain ! injury to support Navy medicine
- Review project propos! als and provide clinical and general recommendations to ensure feasibility
- Collaborate with military healthcare providers and researchers to manage projects focused upon military health, particularly improving the lives of wounded, ill, or injured warriors.
- Provide support to military healthcare providers and researchers in project implementation
- Evaluate ongoing military healthcare projects by developing and assisting with outcome measures, as well as addressing the clinical, cost/benefit, and readiness measures
- Develop methods to measure the value of implemented projects
- Conduct tracking of process and outcome measures
- Experience with treatment of Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and/or substance abuse
- Preferably experience working with military populations and/or military service
- Minimum of 2+ years of post licensure/certification exper! ience as well as administrative experience in the mental health field
