The VCU Health System's Cardiac Surgery ICU is recruiting for full time and part time, benefitted Care Partner positions. Nursing Students are wellcome. Ability to work part time ( 20 hours a week minimum) or full time require! d.
Qualified candidates must satisfy at least one of the following requirements:
Education/training REQUIRED: Completion of state recognized CNA program; OR Completion of first semester junior year in a BSN program dependent upon school curriculum. VCU/MCV BSN students: completion of sophomore year, Nursing 201, 202, 261. Associate Degree and Diploma programs: completion of first year or a minimum of two semesters of basic nursing courses. Specialty areas e.g. pediatrics, women's health, psychiatry may require completion of a clinical rotation in that area; OR Completion of EMT program; OR Completion of medical assistant program
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment including CPR, etc: AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
Level and type of experience PREFERRED: Acute care experience as a nursing assistant or aide experience
Shift REQUIRED:
Evening/Night rotation
