The Online Care Group PC, in partnership with American Well, is seeking contract, part time psychiatrists in Virginia for our national telehealth practice. This individual will join a team of other psychiatrists and shall serve in a clinical role for OCG, providing online psychiatric initial evaluations and medication management follow-up visits to patients. We service our payer, health system and employer group patients via American Well's state-of-the-art, HIPAA compliant, video-based telehealth platform.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry (in good standing with Medical Board)
- Hold an active, unrestricted license in at least one state
- Hold and active, unrestricted DEA license
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs psychiatric evaluations
- Provides medication management
- Work as an Independently Contracted physician for a minimum of one hour per week
- Evaluates for general medical health and makes referrals for medical follow-up
- Acts as a subject matter expert for the OCG clinical team when requested
