Harris Medical is seeking locum coverage
Type of Assignment: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Adult Psychiatrist inpatient (will not treat children or adolescents in this unit)
Lo cation: Virginia
Client offers psychiatric treatment and chemical dependency programs.
Inpatient psych unit
Daily Average Patient Census = 10-15 per shift
Shift hours: 8;30-5:30 am to 5 pm (no call coverage)
Schedule Expectations Monday â€" Friday (no weekend coverage needed)
EMR
Requirements:
CV
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Physicians
1 year minimum inpatient psych experience required
DEA
Copy of VA license
Must feel comfortable with treating serious mental illness and dual diagnosis for substance abuse.
Harris medical covers travel and malpractice
Credentialing takes 60 days !
