Novilla RNG is a nationwide developer of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects at dairies across the continent. Our mission is providing a sustainable and beneficial path for North American agriculture to reduce their greenhouse gas footprint and create a reliable income stream. Our process digests cow manure, creating a biogas that is purified into pipeline quality natural gas that can be use in a variety of ways. The digestion of the manure mitigates the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from dairy lagoons.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Are you passionate about sustainability and want to make a positive impact on the environment? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in our efforts to promote renewable natural gas (RNG) as an alternative energy source. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring RNG feedstock, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing the procurement process. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the RNG industry and be part of the renewable energy revolution.
PRINICIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and initiatives for RNG plant construction
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of RNG material supplies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements and develop specifications
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and analyze procurement data, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficiency-enhancing measures
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Stay informed about environmental regulations and policies related to RNG Plants and Dairy’s
- Other roles as decided by management
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High School degree and training in relevant area
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the energy or sustainability sector
- Knowledge of RNG or biogas industry and familiarity with RNG material and parts procurement processes
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
