A state facility is seeking to hire a BC/BE Psychiatrist for the Acute unit. Must have VA license. Psychiatrist will see 8-10 patients per day. Hours are 8:15-5 M-F, no call unless the physician wants it and would then be compensated. Compensation right out of residency 185k plus sign on bonus and 40 hours sign on leave. Experienced physicians would start 203-205K with work history and credentials being considered. Loans repay up to 50k first 2 years then 35 k for the next 2 years. This Psychiatric unit is part of 162 bed hospital in the Appalachian region. Very rural community that offers abundant outdoor activities including the Appalachian Trail. Close to cities where there are cultural activities and is conveniently located on the I-81 corridor.
