This hospital is 15 minutes by car from the office where outpatient services are provided.Office staff also includes seven license counselors providing addiction treatment services as well as general psychological services. Numerous groups address early recovery, buprenorphine maintenance, codependency, health professionals recovery, and sex addiction.This is the premier addiction treatment facility in the Tidewater area including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and other communities with a total population of 1.7 million. The practice was established in 1989.Volunteer faculty appointments are available at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk.
