Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Psych RN for our Inpatient Psych Unit at In! ova Fairfax Hospital!!
Monday-Friday with everyother weekend. Shifts are 7:00am-3:30pm.

Clinical Practice & Care Coordination - The Inova Registered Nurse provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse and healthcare delivery team. Consistently providing safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. All patient care and interactions are patient and family centered. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences t! o meet the needs of patients and families throughout the conti! nuum to include patient and family education.

Job & Education Requirements:
Psychiatry :
Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
RNC in psychiatric nursing desired.
Education Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN or MSN preferred.
BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
Proficient in English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
Proficient computer skills required.
